This morning as my handsome genius and I were trying to buy some more times to relax before another long day of driving, he handed Kate his iphone for a little entertainment. Minutes later she handed it back to him with all the apps completely rearranged. He panicked as all the main apps namely phone, internet etc were missing. In a frightened voice he said "Kate what did you do?" She said "I'm two."

P.s. Just in case you're worried…don't be. His phone is fine now. She had created a new page of apps and he found them.

Loving conversationalist: There is so much you have to say and so little time. I am amazed at how much you know. We marvel at what you say. You have a giant heart in a tiny little body. You love laughing with your brother, playing elephants with your sister, cuddling with your momma, and talking with your daddy on the phone. Your baby dolls are by far your favorite toys. You're a born nurturer. Our little sweet pea, you're the perfect addition to our family.

And walking is this little cherub's favorite mode of transportation these days!!! That's right she started walking last week, and now it's hard to get a picture of her that isn't blurry cause she's a girl on a mission!

Speaking of Winter . . .

Coastal Carolina doesn't get much of this, but then again miracles do happen. Over President's day weekend we got this. It's Kate's first encounter with the white stuff.

I couldn't wait to have you. I hoped you'd be a girl. I loved the name, and wanted nothing other than to have a precious little Kate Elizabeth. You are every bit as lovable as I dreamed you'd be. You are easily entertained by your sister and brother, and you light up their world. They eagerly anticipate your return from every nap. Sometimes, in fact, they don't wait. Anna frequently wakes you up by walking into your room, turning on the light, and throwing every toy and book she can find into your crib for you to enjoy. There are many parties in your crib with the three of you. They adore you and so do your daddy and I. It has been so much fun this year watching the family grow together by loving on you. Happy first birthday, baby girl, you have brought us all such joy.
